On Wednesday, police arrested David Guillod at his home in Sherman Oaks, LA. David is one of the most renowned producers of Hollywood. Earlier he had charges of drugging and assaulting four women in Santa Barbara. He was finally taken into custody from his home in Sherman Oaks in LA. An unknown woman reported police on 21 October regarding her sexual assault in an evening meeting. David produced some of the eminent films like The Extraction and Atomic Blonde. On Wednesday, LA Police took him to Los Angeles Police Metropolitan Detention Center. He was in jail for hours and until he gave five million, he was kept in custody.
David’s defense attorney, Philip Cohen said to the Los Angeles Times that the police arrested him. Apart from this, Philip did not give out any other information to the news. Back in June, he was out of jail after surrendering about his crime in Santa Barbara. However, still, after that, David Guillod has now fifteen sex crimes over his head. Santa Barbara County Superior Court is handling the case and would soon come up with the right decision.

Earlier he had charges of three rape and sodomy connected to an alleged attack in October 2018. This charge came on his head a few days ago as per the court records. Apart from that, other charges on Guillod are kidnap, drugging, and others. Prosecutors mentioned that he even attacked women in 2012, 2014, and 2015. Although Guillod denied all the allegations; however, the court and the police are still detecting.
Philip Cohen back in June mentioned that the police vilified Guillod for eight years. They did not even give him the opportunity to prove himself not guilty. He also added that ‘Justice is rarely swift and often does not come easy. However, Mr. Guillod is looking forward to clearing his name.’ Ted actor Jessica Barth accused David of sexual assault. She even added that the producer drugged in 2012 in one of the meetings.
Initially, she reported the allegations to the LA police. Although the police did investigate the case. But, within two years the police department closed the case. Barth was among the other women from the film industry who had to face inappropriate behavior from David. Many women termed David Guillod as a rapist and former disgraced Hollywood producer. In 2017, Bartha publicly talked about the allegation in the wake of the #MeToo movement.
