Fans of The Masked Singer believe they have solved the puzzle of who is sporting the Turtle costume. Following tonight’s installation of this singing contest series, theories bombarded behind Turtle’s voice concerning the guy. An overwhelming number of these seem to believe its Jesse McCartney as it happens.
“Jesse McCartney all know that is you on The Masked Singer,” wrote a viewer, while the other chimed in with”the turtle on the masked singer is Jesse McCartney, I won’t be making any remarks.” A third cemented their claim by tweeting, “The only one that I feel 100% confident in my figure that it the turtle is Jesse McCartney.”
McCartney got his start as a child actor on the soap opera My Children from the late 1990s, but soon parlayed his abilities into both singing and acting. Before embarking on a solo career, he was a part of the boy band Dream Street. He has had guest roles as two Distinct personalities on Law & Order in Addition to Law & Order: SVU and has been regularly appearing in displays such as Major Crimes and Stress the Walking Dead.
On the big screen, he has done a range of voiceover functions, such as his portrayal of Theodore Seville at Alvin and The Chipmunks franchise.
Earlier on Wednesday, another boy group alum inadvertently revealed who Turtle had been assumed to be. While the Backstreet Boys appeared Tuesday on Watch What Happens Live, group member Nick Carter ended up spilling the beans in which the costume was made for him to wear. Obviously, he needed to turn down the series because”we had been occupied.”
When he had been one sporting the shell, however, he made it obvious it was not him host Andy Cohen requested Backstreet Boy AJ McLean.
“Oh my God, this is going on? No, since I am here now, so I am definitely not the turtle,” he responded.
The Masked Singer airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on Fox
