We are amazed it’s taken so long, however, The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons has cameoed on The Simpsons — and it is unbelievably on-brand.
The Sheldon Cooper actor appeared as himself at the most recent episode of this long-running animation, appearing in a movie explaining a Bitcoin parody.
‘Frinkcoin’ sees about getting the richest guy in Springfield thanks, Lisa interview Professor Frink to his cryptocurrency.
In Parsons’ explainer movie — that comprises a visual gag about making a lot of money off Big Bang Theory residuals — he admits: “People think I am a nerd, but I’m super cool.”
The actor completed his run The Big Bang Theory this past year, though still voices the older Sheldon on spin-off series Young Sheldon.

“There was no factor; there was no situation I was like,’ Well, I have had enough of that.’ No. There was not anything like this. It was just… when you know, you know.
“And you are susceptible and thrown around by the whims of your existence and getting into a certain age and your lifestyle changes and you simply think different.”
The Big Bang Theory’s final season aired on CBS and CBS All Access in the USA. You can purchase the entire boxset currently on DVD and Blu-ray.
